Reliable recording solutions give organizations with strict regulatory compliances a tool to keep track of their conversations, transactions and collaborations with customers and other interested parties. For companies in the financial and healthcare industries, recording solutions have become mandatory. When said solution is certified by the likes of Microsoft (News - Alert), it ensures it has been properly vetted to provide the tools that are necessary for successful recordings. Numonix just announced Microsoft certified its RECITE recording solution for Skype for Business for interactions that take place on premises, hybrid cloud and in Microsoft Office 365.

Numonix is a Microsoft Partner, and it was one of the first companies to introduce an interaction recording solution for Skype (News - Alert) for Business. This capability made it possible to record without compatibility issues for virtually every cloud and on premises business communication platform and interface available today in the marketplace. The company stated the recording solution it offers is scalable from five to up to 500,000 users, which can be delivered reliably throughout the Americas, APAC and EMEA.

“Microsoft’s certification of RECITE validates our leadership in the recording industry. It also affirms to our customers the commitment to continuously evolve and strengthen our integrations for Skype for Business and Skype Online,” said Avi Margolin, CEO of Numonix.

The RECITE for Office 365 solution doesn't need to have any software installed into the enterprise network. It enables cloud-based interaction recording, storage, management and retrieval through a hybrid cloud integration and Web-based portal system. This allows administrators to quickly access a recording whenever there is an audit or conversations need to be reviewed.

RECITE is able to record voice, video, chat and desktop screen— features that will now extend to Skype for Business, along with other additional elements. This includes built-in announcement service, intelligent scenario routing, compliance with Skype for Business contact centers, real-time active directory monitoring, comprehensive activity logs and more.

As far as regulatory compliances, RECITE is a SOX, HIPAA, PCI (News - Alert)-DSS, Dodd-Frank, BASLII, and MIFID-2 compliant recording solution, covering the most important regulations in the healthcare and financial sector. It is also compatible with the leading voice and UC platforms, including Allworx, Avaya, Broadsoft, Cisco, Mitel, ShoreTel, Switchvox and Toshiba (News - Alert).

The certification of RECITE ensures Skype for Business users will have a compliant solution with multiple features to simplify, secure, store and analyze their recordings. Vertical industries in automotive, collection agencies, contact centers, finance, healthcare, and others can now customize their recordings to gain valuable insights into employee customer interactions as well as to meet regulatory compliances.
