Varonis Announces Future Office 365 Support in MetaData Framework

Varonis, a company providing solutions for unstructured business data, has announced that its Varonis Metadata Framework will support MIcrosoft Office 365 in the near future.

Varonis specializes in solutions that enhance the security of data in business, such as restricting access to files that contain sensitive information such as credit cards.

As more businesses move to cloud services to allow employees greater access to data from mobile devices (often under BYOD policies), Varonis is moving to where their customers are going.

The support for Office 365 will be fully implemented next year.

Varonis also announced a number of new features with the current release of its Metadata Framework 6, including a search API in DatAnswers and bidirectional permissions visibility for Active Directory objects in DatAdvantage. DatAlert has added intelligent threshold alerting and DataPrivilege has added email workflow support and permissions reporting.
