Axeda M2M Cloud Service Wins TMCnet's M2M Evolution Product of the Year

Axeda (News - Alert) Corp. has announced that its Axeda M2M Cloud Service has been named a 2011 'M2M Evolution Product of the Year' by TMCnet, a global, integrated media company that helps clients build communities in print, in person and online.

“The editors of M2M Evolution are pleased to grant a 2011 Product of the Year Award to Axeda for the significant progress achieved in the machine to machine industry with its M2M Cloud Service,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO at TMC (News - Alert).

With the Axeda M2M Cloud Service, the company’s customers deliver innovative M2M solutions and optimize their business processes with data from their connected products. TMCnet recognized it for its unique ability to cut the cost and complexity out of connecting and managing products.

Company officials said that Axeda's M2M data integration and application development platform is “uniquely” qualified to handle the complex requirements for M2M solutions, including managing multiple types of connections and assets, processing massive amounts of unstructured data, and providing enterprise grade scalability and security. 

Bill Zujewski, executive vice president for product strategy and marketing at Axeda, said that the company’s customers are reinventing their companies and their industries through the valuable product data that they can now access and analyze for enterprise-wide gain.

“We are honored to be recognized by TMCnet for our efforts,” he added.

Axeda is a provider of cloud-based service and software for managing connected products and implementing innovative M2M applications.

Earlier in May, the company announced its inclusion in the list of “Cool Vendors” in the Cloud Services Brokerage (CSB) report by Gartner (News - Alert).
