Drivewyze Offers Commercial Vehicle Bypass Service in State of Rhode Island

In a bid to offer better road management and prevent road accidents in Rhode Island, Drivewyze PreClear, a new bypass service provided through smartphones, tablets and select Electronic On-Board Recorder (EOBR) technologies, has been launched.

With this announcement, Rhode Island has become 13th lucky state to provide this kind of service.

Founded in 2010 as a subsidiary of Intelligent Imaging Systems (News - Alert) Inc., Drivewyze PreClear provides bypass services at four mobile inspection sites in key locations throughout the state.

Sergeant Dave Medeiros of the Rhode Island State Police said in a statement, “We are glad to be working with Drivewyze. Chris Maxwell of the Rhode Island Trucking Association agrees that the Rhode Island Trucking Association is pleased, in conjunction with local authorities, to be working with Drivewyze to enlighten and educate our members concerning the numerous benefits of this technology.

Drivewyze PreClear offers bypass services to un-served or under-served regions of North America, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Drivewyze has also partnered with industry and government stakeholders to offer time-saving and cost-effective driving solutions to commercial vehicle operators and carriers.

The company is offering Drivewyze PreClear service to drivers and fleets starting at $12.99 per month for interstate service.
