Lantronix (News - Alert) has recently inked sales and marketing partnership agreement with New York-based DataVision Computer Video to further offer its patent-pending xPrintServer family to other consumers and to rapidly build brand and drive sales.
Officials at Lantronix said the xPrintServer Family is recognized as an easy-to-use hardware solution that uses the iOS native print menu and requires no additional applications, software downloads or printer driver installations.
"Apple (News - Alert) and Apple-related products are among our top sellers, especially during the upcoming Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the overall holiday season," said Albert Liniado, president of DataVision Computer Video. "We are constantly being asked, by both consumer and business customers, about printing solutions for the iPad and iPhone (News - Alert) -- and thus far, only the Lantronix xPrintServer fits the bill. It's slick and performs exceptionally well, and its ease of set up and use should be a hit with our customers."
This revolutionary product requires no configuration and has automatic printer discovery to print with ease. It works easily by opening the box, plugging in power and Ethernet and prints from any iOS device, running iOS version 4.2 or later, to virtually any USB or network-connected printer, whether wired or wireless.
"DataVision is an ideal partner for our xPrintServer, and for practically every Lantronix product," said Mark D. Tullio, vice president of worldwide marketing for Lantronix. "We have just kicked off an aggressive global marketing push to build awareness of the Lantronix brand, and securing partnerships with market-leading resellers such as DataVision is a key component to the strategy. Their reach into both consumers and IT professionals should prove invaluable, and the positioning of our xPrintServer in retail side by side with iPads and iPhones should serve to rapidly build brand and drive sales."
xPrintServer family is currently compatible with the iPad2, iPad, iPhone, iPodTouch and virtually any device running Apple's iOS mobile operating system.
