GPSTrackIt has introduced the new Android (News - Alert) app for fleet tracking. The app allows Android users to locate, monitor and track their fleet vehicles.
GPSTrackIt provides the real-time reporting users require to run an efficient, productive and safe fleet. With this tool, they can easily run reports to view driver behavior for an individual, a group or their whole fleet.
The company’s simple Maps interface allows users to see their drivers in real time, and direct their activities with ease. It is easy to see their drivers in the field and manage them more effectively, whether viewing everyone for dispatching, or zooming in to assist with a specific driver.
This Android app is the latest product from GPSTrackIt as the company looks to add to its growing line of mobile technology solutions.
It joins the recently released iPhone app (available from Apple’s (News - Alert) App Store).
“It gives fleet managers and dispatchers a portable window through which they can monitor their fleets,” said Eddie Bermudez, GPSTrackIt’s Product Manager. “We introduced this technology with the iPhone (News - Alert) app, which has already been downloaded hundreds of times. Our Android app brings this functionality to a whole new audience.”
Recently, the company went mobile with the new iPhone app, which allows iPhone users of the company’s Fleet Manager system to locate, monitor and track their fleet vehicles at their fingertips. Although there’s a new app available from the Apple App Store, if those among one of the GPSTrackIt’s fleet management customers are using their Fleet Manager GPS tracking software, they’ll get it automatically.
