SeeControl is expanding its line of turnkey M2M solutions for agriculture and equipment telemetry with the addition of Quake Global’s Q4000.
The dual mode communication modem from Quake can connect to a satellite network or a traditional ground-based wireless data network and automatically selects the most economical method of sending the data.
Customers can leverage the SeeControl/QUAKE solution to collect, analyze, and act upon real-time location and operating data in a very economical manner.
This entire process will help address the demanding performance and other business objectives of users.
The combined solution will enable equipment OEMs and owners to send and receive information from heavy equipment all across the globe.
“We are very pleased to establish this relationship with SeeControl,” said Polina Braunstein, CEO of QUAKE.
“They are a recognized leader in the agricultural OEM and Telematics solutions arena. We anticipate that considerable agriculture and equipment telematics innovation will be fueled by the global reach of the Q4000, combined with SeeControl's software-as-a-service cloud for sensor reporting and analytics.”
SeeControl provides solution integrators with one of a kind M2M services and applications. Its device store offers a large selection of turnkey M2M sensor devices designed to enable mixed asset and fleet operations.
Alliance with QUAKE will benefit those equipment owners that want to add new asset types to an existing global fleet. It will also help OEM equipment manufacturers who are designing the next generation of telematics programs.
About the same time last year, Novatel Wireless (News - Alert) and SeeControl introduced an end-to-end pre-integrated usage-based-insurance (UBI) telematics solution at Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) in Barcelona, Spain.
