This week in Machine to Machine Solutions, NCTC named SageQuest (News - Alert) an exclusive provider of GPS fleet tracking and business intelligence.

As technical response teams play an important role in customer satisfaction, SageQuest’ solution delivers new and improved insight into services that can help response time and quality.

Corey McCarthy, CFO for NCTC remarked, “NCTC partners with providers that offer simple solutions for our members, and SageQuest delivers another strong choice when helping our members to cost effectively expand their reach of service and improve profitability. We were attracted to the SageQuest platform because of its proven support to cable operators and telecomm companies, as well as its unique business model and member friendly pricing.”

In other Machine to Machine news, Gemalto, a technology powering the TRiLOC GPS personal locator device, is helping locate people with Autism Spectrum (News - Alert) Disorder (ASD), dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

This portable device includes a wristwatch solution that can monitor people diagnosed with Autism or Alzheimer's disease 24/7. The device allows caregivers and a person diagnosed with autism or Alzheimer’s disease more freedom, but also gives caregivers the comfort of knowing that their loved one is safe.

"TRiLOC gives my son greater autonomy and reduces the need of constant supervision. With the tethering accessory, families or caregivers can plan trips to museums, shopping centers, and even busy theme parks without the enormous stress of the individual wandering off," said Tony Fama, iLOC president, CEO and father of a son with ASD.

Lastly, SeeControl is expanding its line of M2M solutions. Concentrated in the agricultural and equipment industry, the Quake Global’s Q4000 can connect to a satellite network or wireless data network to send data.

In order to send information about heavy equipment and other agricultural-related information, the solution allows OEMS and owners to send and receive data in the most economically feasible way.

“They are a recognized leader in the agricultural OEM and Telematics solutions arena. We anticipate that considerable agriculture and equipment telematics innovation will be fueled by the global reach of the Q4000, combined with SeeControl's Software-as-a-Service cloud for sensor reporting and analytics.”
