Aspect Software Integrates Unified IP with Microsoft Lync Server 2013

Aspect (News - Alert) Software, a provider of fully-integrated customer interaction management, workforce optimization, and back-office solutions, recently announced successful integration of Aspect Unified IP with Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync Server 2013. The Unified IP solution is contact center software that provides customer contact capabilities for inbound, outbound, voice portal, Internet contact, multichannel self-service and proactive contact capabilities, as well as tight integration with Microsoft Lync to fuel innovative unified communications (UC) and collaboration functionality.


As a result of the integration, Aspect Unified IP now supports inbound and outbound voice, e-mail, and chat. Customers can help themselves by finding information through instant messaging. Apart from improving the customer experience, the integration will also increase agent productivity and effectiveness with built-in, fully-integrated core communications capabilities that eliminate the need for separate applications. The agents will also be able to work remotely, reducing IT complexity and costs.
