RemoteLink Inc., a national provider of conferencing, IVR and data entry services, reportedly has selected Level 3 Communications for nationwide Ethernet and voice services.

Level 3 officials said that the company, which already was providing switched voice and colocation services to RemoteLink, will deliver nationwide gigabit Ethernet and VoIP services.

“Over the years, Level 3 has demonstrated the ability to deliver scalable solutions for RemoteLink as our business has grown,” said Cliff Parrish, CEO RemoteLink, in a statement.

Parrish said that expanding partnership will allow the company to enhance its existing product offerings and provide new resources and functionality for the clients.

“Level 3’s broad service portfolio allows us to design solutions that meet the complex and diverse needs of companies like RemoteLink,” said Jeff Tench, president of Level 3’s Business Markets Group.

Tench said that backed by strong service level guarantees and ongoing customer support, Level 3 delivers a more reliable experience for RemoteLink and its customers.

Level 3 Communications (News - Alert), Inc. is an international provider of fiber-based communications services.

TMCnet recently reported that Level 3 Communications was selected to provide VoIP enhanced local services, or “ELS,” for Momentum Telecom, which provides private-label residential and business digital voice solutions.

Under the contract, Momentum will consolidate the majority of its local service traffic on the company’s network, thereby allowing Momentum to streamline its business.

With Level 3 VoIP ELS, customers like Momentum can deliver IP-based local and long-distance communications services to residential and business customers using broadband connections.

This solution enables a quick-to-market, cost-effective and high-quality VoIP primary-line replacement service, officials said.

Earlier this month Level 3 Communications had announced an expanded relationship with Clearwire (News - Alert) Communications, LLC, an operating subsidiary of Clearwire Corporation, to support their CLEAR 4G WiMAX (News - Alert) services.

Level 3 will provide Clearwire with network transport services as part of their deployment of CLEAR WiMax services in major metropolitan markets across the United States.

Under terms of the agreement, Level 3 will deliver high-speed Internet connectivity to major U.S. cities, including Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington D.C., Houston and the Bay Area. Each 10 Gigabit Ethernet connection will carry data and Internet traffic for CLEAR customers.
