The company said these solutions reduce the entry cost for service delivery infrastructure.

It makes use of the various existing standards, and takes on board different services defined by, for example, 3GPP and OMA and combines them with the Enhanced Phonebook. It also reuses the capabilities of 3GPP specified IMS core system

Alert) Net-Net SIP Multimedia-xpress (SMX) creates a simplified, single system RCS IMS-equivalent or NGN delivery platform at a cost of approximately $2–$3 per subscriber. Scaling the Net-Net SMX solution, and any other Acme Packet access SBC deployment, to 2 million subscribers from a single IP address for SIP signaling is now possible with Acme Packet’s Net-Net SIP Multimedia-xpress (SMX).
“Mobile and fixed service providers have high goals for IMS and RCS services, including lower costs and enhanced revenue. However, in most cases, IMS implementation has not been rapid or widespread because of the complexity and expense of highly decomposed deployment models,” stated Seamus Hourihan (

Along with session routing proxies (SRPs) within Acme Packet’s Open Session Routing (OSR) architecture, Acme Packet’s Net-Net Route Manager Central (RMC) consolidates and automates the management and distribution of up to 2 million routes per Acme Packet SBC.
The company recently
showcased its solutions for unifying communications for mobile broadband at the 2010 Mobile World Congress (

Alert). The company presented, exhibited and demonstrated its Net-Net product family in hospitality suite AV80 on the Avenue located in Fira de Barcelona at Montjuic. Acme Packet's solutions can solve real-world challenges in delivering trusted, first class IP interactive communications, said the company.
