Third-party verification for Web orders has always been challenging, largely due to a lack of an easy and inexpensive solution for online transactions. TrustedTPV, however, has finally come up with a solution which allows energy marketers to easily obtain verifiable consent from their online customers using the WebTPV, an electronic signature for online transactions.
WebTPV, which is powered by AssureSign, is simple to use. After going through the standard online ordering process on your website, customers are pushed to TrustedTPV’s secure verification site where they are able to view the completed online order. After clicking on the signature box at the bottom, they are allowed to “sign” using the mouse. After this process, they are then brought back to your website to finish the remaining part of the order. The final document will now contain the customer’s information that was inputted together with their signature and their IP address at the time of ordering.
TrustedTPV offers live operator, automated and WebTPV verification services to the deregulated energy industry as well as telecom and cable. It also provisions its services in the financial and healthcare industries. The company verifies over 11,000 transactions per day, and its automated transactions are available for retrieval both over the phone and online.
To make it even more accessible, TrustedTPV has also made available WebTPV as a mobile application for tablets and smartphones. This makes it a great tool for door-to-door marketing campaigns where customers can sign the order form with their finger or stylus on the go. These applications are extremely flexible and can be used for residential orders and complex business orders with multiple accounts.
TrustedTPV’s WebTPV is E-sign compliant, which means that it is recognized as a legal document by the E-Sign Act.
