Square Register Offers Simple Payment Solution for Businesses

Square Register, a mobile payment processing solution, will now offer companies everything they need to process payments, track sales, and share item and location information – all from in-house. 

The application, Square Register, was originally designed as a way to accept credit card payments on your mobile phone or iPad for ecommerce and on-the-go vendors. The company has advertised its free secure card reader, which plugs into an Apple (News - Alert) device, to read card swipes and process payment securely.

In addition, the processing fees were a lot lower than if the vendor used a traditional credit card machine. Instead, the vendor would only have to pay 2.57 percent per swipe for all major credit cards – or if you are processing high volumes you can cap your payment by paying a flat $275 per month.

As Square Register became more popular, the demand to bring it in-store was reaching an all time high. More and more brick-and-mortar storeowners began implementing the easy-to-use program into their daily transactions.
