A new partnership between IBM (News - Alert) and Monetise can not only help you manage your own money, but help businesses to understand how their customers are acting.
IBM and Monetise recently announced their expanded, multi-year global alliance to deliver cloud-based mobile commerce to various financial service institutions. In doing so, the partners hope to help their clients embrace the mobile channel and thus better connect and engage with their customers.
The union plans to bring together IBM’s MobileFirst portfolio, financial services and industry expertise with Monetise’s mobile banking and payment abilities. Financial institutions will benefit by gaining access to in-depth data analytics, which will allow them to provide their customers more targeted services such as in-store engagement and location-based offers. This sort of customer-based insight also allows institutions to make more timely decisions, based on knowledge of customer behavior. Financial service providers can deploy new digital and mobile solutions like these while reducing their own costs and driving their revenue streams.
IBM has pre-existing software of this type; its ExperienceOne portfolio and Interactive Experience practice have already shown to improve customer engagement with data analytics. Monetise will draw from these already-established programs, as well as collaborate with IBM’s ReadyApps suite of industry-specific, pre-configured apps for businesses to customize and deploy.
