Avotus (News - Alert) Corporation a provider of telecom expense management (TEM) services, eProcurement, and Call Accounting (Usage Management) solutions, announced that it has inked a partnership agreement with Anomalous Networks.

This new agreement entails the launch of a new Real-Time Telecom Expense Management (R-TEM) solution called Avotus Telicost.

In a release Dan Rudich CEO of Anomalous Networks said, “In the past, enterprise companies relied on TEM firms to analyze their mobile bills after-the-fact in order to ensure carriers were not overcharging. Businesses need to accurately estimate and plan their mobile expenses.”

“Our technology actually gives TEMs like Avotus the ability to provide real-time tracking and alerting for voice, data, SMS and roaming events helping to eliminate “Bill Shock” for their customers through a centralized dashboard of a company’s mobile fleet. So, instead of looking at the end-users’ roaming charges after they hit the bill, companies will be instantly alerted and instructed to adjust user behavior or telecom plans in real-time. With Telicost, companies can save anywhere between 20-60% on their overall mobile expenses every month,” Rudich added.

According to company sources the new Telicost solution synergizes the Real-Time Telecom Expense Management (R-TEM) technology of Anomalous Networks with insights from Avotus to reduce enterprise telecom expenses. The solution is designed to monitor, inform, and analyze data, voice and roaming costs.

Also it offers visibility into an enterprise’ telecom expenses via customizable real-time alerts, besides ensuring increased security and productivity by using flexible mobile device policies.

Sumer Shankardass, CEO of Avotus revealed that the launch of Avotus Telicost follows efforts to extend the Avotus Mobile Lifecycle Management suite which can provide real-time visibility into enterprise mobility.

This offering shows that Avotus can empower enterprises to control their communication spend arising from roaming, estimated plan overages, and other anomalous usage events. Avotus Telicost also evaluates carrier network usage in real-time and predict expenses thereby avoiding unexpected telecom charges, he added.

Avotus Corp recently announced the release of a new version of its call accounting software, ICM Unity 1.2.
