TechLogix Networx Joins SDVoE Alliance

U.S.-based manufacturer TechLogix Networx has joined the SDVoE Alliance. The news was announced just as both organizations were readying for ISE 2017 in Amsterdam.

TechLogix Networx designs and manufactures technology for the custom installation and commercial audio-visual markets. And at ISE 2017, it plans to debut its IPFO Series AV-over-IP platform for 18G HDMI and control.

The SDVoE Alliance is dedicated to standardizing the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments. It aims to offer end users increased flexibility, more tailored applications for users, and reduced capital and operational expenses as a result. It also wants to provide a reliable and more versatile alternative to point-to-point extension and circuit switches. It hopes to facilitate AV/IT convergence so high-quality AV networks and data networks can share a single infrastructure. And it is working to build awareness and create an ecosystem around these goals.

“We share a common vision for the evolution of audiovisual signal distribution,” says TechLogix Networx CTO Christopher Melendy. “We know software and Ethernet will play a much larger role, and we know that open collaboration is of the utmost importance.”

TechLogix Networx sells a wide array of technologies. That includes the TL-SM3X1 complete huddle room solution. It offers an inline HDMI controller. It sells fiber optic cabling and electronics solutions for A/V applications. And it has affordable A/V systems for use in education environments.
