Spirent Singled Out for Ethernet Innovation

End-to-end the network requires much in the way of attention, from testing and measurement, to testing and more. And, as digital transformation drives network modernization and the implementation of multi-gigabit Ethernet, it is mission critical to ensure the network is maintained and all systems are go. Industry events allow for firms to highlight innovation, and recently Spirent received multiple Best of Interop (News - Alert) Tokyo Awards for its efforts.
As Spirent strives to develop networking technologies of tomorrow, three of its solutions were singled out at the industry event: Spirent (News - Alert) TestCentrer C50 with WLAN Wave 2 and Ethernet/IP Test solutions, CloudScore solution with comprehensive cloud infrastructure benchmarking services, and the CyberFlood security solution on the Spirent Test Center C1 platform. Best of Interop judges determined Spirent was deserving of three awards, in the categories of security, Cloud and Wave 2WLAN.
Each solution showed clear differentiation from the competition, but the Spirent TestCenter C50 earned the grand prize. The Spirent TestCenter C50 was cited for the unique ability to offer WLAN 802.11ac Wave 2 end-to-end testing, as well as 10G, 5G, 2.5G and 100M Base-T Ethernet testing in its small chassis. Judges also considered the WLAN 802.11ac Wave 2 Test module coupled with Spirent’s 20.5G, 5G BASE-T Ethernet products, the most realistic WLAN multi-client emulation tool available today.
