Netgear ReadyNas Now Available Through Beta Distribution

Netgear’s (News - Alert) ReadyNAS network storage solutions, switches, and Wi-Fi routers are now available through Beta Distribution.

The 35-year-old IT distributor sells everything from data storage and print hardware, to IT services, to digital signage and meeting room solutions. The London-based company provides solutions to more than 3,000 registered customers annually. It does more than 60 percent of its business online.

The ReadyNAS comprises an array of products.

• The 210 Series was designed for personal data storage, and home audio and video streaming. This series is based on an ARM (News - Alert) Cortex A15 Quad Core Processor. Products come in two- and four-bay configurations. And these dual gigabit Ethernet solutions support up to 12-user work groups.

• The 310 Series is for data backup and sharing, local and remote access, and small office data storage. These dual gigabit Ethernet products are based on the Intel (News - Alert) Atom processor; come in two-, four-, and six-bay configurations; and support up to 20-user work groups.

• The 420 Series addresses data backup and sharing, local and remote access, and small and medium office data storage applications. Also dual gigabit Ethernet and based on Intel Atom, these productss are for work groups with up to 40 users.

• The ReadyNAS 520 Series, meanwhile, is for local and remote access, medium office data storage, and small virtualized network applications. This series employs the Intel Pentium Server Processor (News - Alert) and is based on dual 10Gigabit Ethernet technology. The 520 Series can support work groups of as large as 80 users.

• Organizations that need something even larger may consider the ReadyNAS 620 Series. It’s meant for local and remote accesess, and office data storage and virtualized network applications at medium and large businesses. It employs the Intel Xeon Server Processor, dual 10Gigabit and dual gigabit Ethernet technology, and supports up to 120 users.

As for switches, Netgear offers a wide selection of those too. That includes business switches, gaming and media streaming switches, home office Ethernet solutions, SOHO Ethernet switches, and Web Managed Click & Easy-Mount switches. Netgear also has a very wide array of Wi-Fi routers.
