Comcast Invests $6 Million in San Jose Ethernet

Comcast (News - Alert) Business announced an investment of over six million dollars in a fiber network expansion to five new San Jose, California business parks. More than 1600 businesses will benefit from Comcast’s Ethernet network, capable of delivering 10 Gbps.

This expansion of the Ethernet gives businesses access to Comcast’s portfolio of multi-Gigabit Ethernet offerings. Those that need extensive amounts of bandwidth, need to link multiple sites or branch locations, or are looking to connect to a third-party data center, can utilize several services including Private Line, Virtual Private Line, Network Service, and Dedicated Internet.
