Privileged sessions launched from Password Manager Pro can be video recorded, archived and played back to support forensic audits. They also let enterprises monitor actions performed by privileged accounts during privileged sessions. More than 30,000 administrators and 100,000 users log into Password Manager Pro on a typical day.

In another story, Overture is harnessing the power of carrier Ethernet to provide an entrance to a smarter network. Details were recently provided on Release 12.2 for the Overture 239, 400, 500, 600, 4000 and 6100 product lines.

TMCnet also reported that Broadcom has debut the 28-nanometer, low-power networking chip. The new offering can be used for cloud computing and is also targeted for software defined networks as well as for 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE (News - Alert)) service provider deployments and enterprise data centers. The new 28nm chips are now sampling and will be in volume production during the second half of 2013.

In addition, Napatech provides Intelligent Network Adapters that provide a high-precision time stamp for every frame captured/transmitted.

And TMCnet’s Rachel Ramsey also reported that WebNMS, a telecom software division of network management solutions provider Zoho Corporation, has become the preferred Element Management System (EMS) and Network Management System (NMS) framework provider, with deployments in every Tier 1 carrier in the world.
