Ipanema’s (News - Alert) self-learning and self-optimizing Autonomic Networking System (ANS) brings together all the features to ensure the best application performance. ANS fits into the smallest branch to the largest data center, as it is based on the SALSA central management platform and a family of appliances and software agents.
Recently, the company introduced v7.1 of its Autonomic Networking System (ANS (News - Alert)). Offering big companies, particularly those in the cloud, a feature to manage increased data volumes, this new release consists of improvements to application visibility, control, and performance.
ANS v7.1 offers various new features, which allow users to have faster Deep Packet Inspection (DPI). Looking to reach up to 20,000 new connections per second, Ipanema has tripled its high-end device performance (ip|e1800ax). Identifying more than 300 applications out of the box, this provides a throughput of 2Gbps alongside a classification system. Intelligent device clustering guarantees business application performance up to 10GBPS, the company has stated.
Béatrice Piquer-Durand, VP marketing, Ipanema Technologies commented: “Enterprises will continue to move to the cloud, increasingly virtualizing their infrastructure, using more hosted computing capacity and making SaaS (News - Alert) applications mainstream. They need tools to control and guarantee business application performance in this fast-moving and complex environment. ANS v7.1 demonstrates our commitment and ability to enable our customers to succeed in this time of change.”
Recently, Henkel, a manufacturer of laundry, home care and beauty care and adhesive technologies, selected Ipanema Technologies. With this, Henkel looks to improve its hybrid network, which includes an MPLS infrastructure, to ensure end-user performance of its business critical applications around the world. The WAN optimization solution not only assists the company to administer the complexity of the increasing number of users, but also assists in offering new applications and systems.
