Quest Analytics has developed a service that facilitates plans to administer certain processes with more control. This will help developers particularly in Narrow Network Development.
The Quest Analytics Suite’s Adequacy Analysis Module brings together time and distance-based access standards. It also has a minimum set of provider standards for various individual specialties and specific services performed at a facility.
By enabling all network providers within the wanted proximity of a Medicare beneficiary to be considered in the analysis irrespective of geographic boundaries, it has revolutionized the way servicing providers are identified.
With all of the MA Part-C and Part-D requirements preprogrammed for users, the Adequacy Analysis Module consists of standard templates. This allows users to just feed in their data and run a report to see how they will score before submitting it to CMS.
They can also drill down into their results with features.
“The proper development of Narrow Networks is a time-sensitive and critical process for every plan," said Linda Borths, director of Sales at Quest Analytics. "Every plan is concerned with the high cost associated with contracting and building a network. As plans are considering their network offering, especially in the HIX market, cost, without sacrificing access to care, is a critical component. Our ability to pinpoint the impact of a provider before an engagement can prove to be invaluable."
