Alestra (News - Alert), a Mexican company in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services, has selected NetCracker to enhance its BSS in order to streamline its billing operations and support the launch of next-generation services.
NetCracker’s (News - Alert) BSS portfolio will be used by Alestra to provide converged billing that will transform billing information from multiple sources into a single data format.
NetCracker’s solution will not only streamline billing operations, but will also lower OpEx and TCO, and support the launch of new services
“The NetCracker solution will simplify Alestra’s billing operations and will thereby reduce the time and investment needed to optimize their existing system,” said Frank DeTraglia, vice president global sales, NetCracker, in a statement.
“We are pleased to be bringing NetCracker’s unrivalled knowledge and experience to Alestra’s transformation program, and we look forward to helping them position their business for continued success in the future,” said DeTraglia.
NetCracker Technology is a provider of telecom operations and management systems to communications service providers worldwide.
Back in December, NetCracker Technology had announced that Yes satellite TV had selected NetCracker’s converged billing and customer care solution for its large-scale BSS transformation program.
This move will enable the company to provide next-generation services and an enhanced customer experience within the highly competitive pay TV market.
Yes satellite TV, Israel’s sole satellite television provider, has been utilizing NetCracker’s billing solutions since the company was founded in 2000. To enhance its content delivery offerings, Yes has chosen to implement an integrated solution that will include mission-critical functionality such as a centralized, 360-degree view of the customer, case management, and workflows.
It will also boost the speed-to-market for complex bundles, tariffs, and tailored promotions at the same time that it provides support for a variety of end-user devices — all of which will strengthen the quality of service and provide a richer customer experience.
