PeopleStrategy, Inc., a provider of innovative Software-as-a-Service human resource management systems, recently expanded its leadership team by hiring Carl Miserendino as the company’s senior vice president of business development and Cheryl Paterson as senior vice president of technology.

Miserendino holds more than 30 years of experience in the human resources market. In his new role as SVP of business development, he will be responsible for managing the marketing, sales operations and corporate business development activities at PeopleStrategy. Prior to PeopleStrategy, he worked with some of the top Fortune 500 companies such as Accenture (News - Alert),  where he was responsible for developing and implementing key operational business strategies for Accenture both on and off-shore, as well as for the companies they serviced.

Miserendino also worked at The Coca-Cola Company as its director of payroll services and at Schering-Plough as the vice president of global HR, shared services.

Additionally Cheryl Paterson, the new senior vice president of technology for PeopleStrategy has over 20 years of experience as a technology leader and strategic advisor to multiple firms in the HCM industry. In her new profile at PeopleStrategy, she will oversee the system development, delivery and support of the company’s customer solutions.

Before joining PeopleStrategy, Paterson worked as the COO/CIO of Perquest where she led the definition and development of the first SaaS (News - Alert) HCM solution for the small and mid-sized employer market.

Recently, PeopleStrategy entered into an agreement with U-Haul International, Inc. to license PeopleStrategy’s large-scale Enterprise Payroll Solution.
