NetScout (News - Alert) Systems, Inc., a company that provides Unified Service Delivery Management solutions, recently announced that its nGenius Solution has been selected by Transaction Network Services (TNS (News - Alert)) for service delivery management and assurance of the TNS multi-service Roaming Hub.
The nGenius solution helps companies implement a unified service delivery management framework that enables operational teams to optimize the availability and performance of the network operating environment and delivered services, identify and pre-empt emerging service quality and performance issues, and simplify and unify their approach to managing service delivery.
The adoption of a proactive service delivery management strategy directly supports strategic cable operator initiatives designed to increase average revenue per user (ARPU) and reduce customer churn. At TNS, the solution will assure overall data service availability, quality and interconnectivity, including IPX connectivity, IPX Service hub and diameter signaling.
“Our partner operators must deliver reliable, high quality roaming services for their customers, so availability and performance of our roaming network is a critical requirement,” said Steve Parrott, vice president, product management and marketing, telecom services, at TNS. “We selected NetScout’s nGenius Solution as the best-in-class IP-focused service delivery management platform for its completeness, ability to address LTE (News - Alert) and multi-generational mobile networks and its massive scale capacity to support high volume traffic. The nGenius Solution delivered consistently in our validation testing and we are pleased to include NetScout in our interoperability activity at the CCA conference.”
“NetScout is proud to have been selected by TNS to assure their next generation multi-service Roaming Hub. We are excited to be deployed in a multi-service environment providing roaming support for many carriers over a single converged network,” said Steven Shalita (News - Alert), vice president of marketing for NetScout. “We look forward to participating in the TNS interoperability demonstration at CCA, showing an optimized service delivery environment and intact user experience, which are key benefits of networks assured by NetScout.”
