Pasternack Unveils New VNA Cal Kits

Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. has unveiled its new line of vector network analyzer calibration kits, which provide the RF components required to allow reliable and accurate error corrected measurements of devices under test (DUT), with the help of a VNA from DC to 26.5 GHz in one convenient kit.


A network analyzer measures the network parameters of electrical networks. They’re particularly useful in electrical networks as they can perform measurements at high frequencies.

They can also measure other network parameter sets such as y-parameters, z-parameters, and h-parameters.

Calibration of a DUT with the help of Pasternack’s kit facilitates precise measurements required to meet IEEE (News - Alert) 287 standards. For well-known models like Agilent, Anritsu, Rohde & Schwarz and other VNAs, Pasternack’s VNA calibration kits offer broad VNA coverage.

The 3.5mm / SMA (News - Alert) and Type N VNA calibration kits enable users to get error-corrected measurements of vector network analyzers from DC to 26.5 GHz. To perform two complete port error corrections, Pasternack VNA calibration kits include both male (plug) and female (jack) connector interfaces.

Cal kits for VNAs are kept in a container and organize open-short-load components.

Recently, the company expanded its line of Schottky diode detectors. RF detectors from Pasternack are coaxial components that change the input RF signal strength into proportional DC voltage at its output. This is also referred to as “video out.”

Ranging from 500 MHz to 26 GHz and are available with SMA connectors, Pasternack Enterprises' positive-biased Schottky detectors offer varying operating frequencies.
