Current IT Trends Increase Need for Network Packet Brokers

Given the many changes to enterprise organizations’ network traffic, there is a rising need for network packet brokers (NBPs).

As more companies embrace technologies such as virtualization and cloud computing, network traffic has become faster and more efficient, but increasing traffic from trends like bring your own device (BYOD) and security threats has resulted in a greater need for network visibility into performance tools as well as more network intelligence overall. Meanwhile, applications are becoming more sophisticated, which puts additional strain on businesses.
