Entuity (News - Alert), a provider of enterprise network management solutions, reported that its Entuity Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Plug-In is now available with advanced event management.
The Oracle (News - Alert) Enterprise Manager creates business value from IT by leveraging the built-in management capabilities of the Oracle stack for traditional and cloud environments.
The Entuity Network Manager plug-in for the Oracle Enterprise Manager delivers the capability to create an integrated view that individual solutions cannot, including elimination of network blind spots and blamestorming between departments, providing quicker triage, which will result in efficient use of personnel. It also leads to a lower mean repair time, longer mean time between failures, and the allowance of holistic planning and better integrated business decisions.
Through the Entuity Network Manager Plug-in for Oracle Enterprise Manager, network services can now be designated as Oracle Enterprise Manager targets, and one can arrive at a complete systems view of service delivery by merging these OEM targets with other targets, such as servers, databases, and applications. This feature lets users better manage and monitor their application health by detecting potential network problems that may be affecting application service delivery.
Utilizing the plug-in, users can seamlessly add a network management component to realize rapid analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution for Oracle applications. The Entuity unified network management solution allows companies to logically group together network components that support specific business functions or geographies.
The Entuity Embedded Events Management System supposedly makes information more actionable by organizing granular data into higher-level ‘incidents,’ and the soon to be released version 13.5 of Entuity Embedded EMS is capable of more efficiently addressing the challenges associated with keeping on top of the constant stream of network and infrastructure management events.
Entuity hopes to have overcome the shortcomings of other conventional technologies for effectively managing, correlating, escalating, and otherwise manipulating event streams. As a result, users are presented with new, advanced features that can help them adapt their systems to desired specifications and requirements.
