FreedomVoice a US-based provider of cloud-based VoIP phone systems has entered into a partnership agreement with AppNeta’s PathView Cloud Network Performance Management.

Eric Thomas, president and CEO of FreedomVoice said, “Call quality is a top priority for us. We’ve always had good visibility into our own network and PathView takes it a step further by letting us see what could cause latency, loss, jitter, and QoS errors before and after the packets leave our infrastructure all the way down to the end user.”


AppNeta specializes in full stack application performance management (APM (News - Alert)) solutions and its PathView cloud is running in all FreedomVoice data centers across the United States. This is enabling FreedomVoice partners, customers and support teams to get optimum visibility into network and telephony performance.

The APM solutions of AppNeta deliver integrated performance visibility into the application code, through the network, to the end user. Its SaaS (News - Alert) solutions enable development and IT operations teams to identify and fix performance issues across the application environment easily. This helps customers to enhance business critical applications and end user experience, said officials.

FreedomIQ partners can identify performance and telephony issues and respond proactively by installing a configured AppNeta network performance management appliance in their customers’ network.

The AppNeta solution will provide partners with end-to-end visibility leveraging a local network, ISP and FreedomVoice’s data centers. Partners will benefit a lot from the visibility into network and telephony performance considering issues beyond the FreedomVoice network.

AppNeta also released a new big data architecture that can enable customers to realize granular visibility into network and application usage in order to optimize application performance. This new big data architecture is capable of scaling to more than 50 trillion unique performance metrics allowing customers to better understand the performance of business-critical applications and who is doing what on their networks.

The solutions provided by AppNeta to customers help them manage dozens of Web applications over hundreds of locations around the globe, along with handling thousands of mobile end users. AppNeta’s offerings are capable of scaling up to the countless performance metrics that occur every month for these customers.
