Asavie Technologies and CradlePoint Collaborate to Deliver Secure Connectivity

Asavie (News - Alert) Technologies is collaborating with CradlePoint to deliver a branded solution known as CradlePoint Secure Connect, the first ever cloud network-as-a-service that allows easy, around-the-globe deployment of multi-operator private networks.

The new CradlePoint (News - Alert) Secure Connect leverages the features of Asavie’s PassBridge SDN (Software Defined Network) and as part of the strategic partnership, CradlePoint agreed to equip its networking devices with support for the new branded solution.

CradlePoint stated that it offers the next-generation network management and application platform that integrates cloud management with users’ CradlePoint devices to improve productivity, increase reliability, reduce costs, and enhance the intelligence of their network and business operations. Its 3G/4G/LTE (News - Alert) networking solutions for distributed enterprises provide uncompromised performance for mission-critical applications that require the ability to diversify multiple WAN paths through 3G/4G, Ethernet (T-1, DSL, Cable, MetroE), and Wi-Fi as WAN.

The CradlePoint Secure Connect devices can be set up in advance of delivery to streamline the deployment process with the management requirements taken care of by the cloud networked solution.

Asavie’s PassBridge SDN is a cloud hosted connectivity platform designed to meet the ever-changing and demanding needs of the carriers’ business customer. PassBridge-powered solutions are said to be capable of being deployed from a website, minimizing the impact on the carrier’s helpdesks and optimizing the end-customer experience.
