To help operators gain deep insight into the data that is flowing through their network, Tektronix Communications (News - Alert) announced the launch of Deep Packet Classification (DPC) solution.

The new DPC solution from Tektronix allows operators to understand what services are consuming the valuable network bandwidth on a per subscriber basis, so they can protect and maximize their revenue generating potential. This is important because new over-the-top (OTT) services and applications erode the operator's traditional revenue streams.

With Tektronix’s solution, they can understand which services, devices and customers are driving this change in order to protect against revenue drain. It will also help them identify opportunities to go after and monetize.

Tektronix Communications provides customer experience, network test and service assurance solutions.
