Recently, Perytons revealed it is now supporting 2.4GHz and Sub 1 GHz networks with its newly released Tablet PC analyzer models. Known as the PeryTAB models, the company’s robust solutions have been designed for detecting an array of problems within 802.15.4, ZigBee and 6LoWPAN networks, powering an innovative network tap function.
Perytons is a provider of analyzers for standard and proprietary communication protocols and its Perytons Protocol Analyzer suite delivers superior user experience.
"People are getting used to the comfort of touch screens. Running the Perytons Protocol Analyzer on a Tablet PC introduces a new way of working with analyzers. It combines our already existing specific SW tools into a single, truly mobile and easy to use platform. This cuts tremendously network deployment and optimization time," said Yaron Soffer, CEO and founder of Perytons in a statement.
In the near future, the company will be kicking off the introduction phase for the PeryTAB. During this time period, the PeryTAB will be seamlessly integrated with a tablet PC such as ACER Iconia W500-BZ457 or Skytex Skytab S-series, running the Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows 7 Operating System.
"With the PeryTAB models users can enjoy both worlds and use our analyzer software either in tablet or standard non-tablet modes, taking advantage of the rich features and options that each of these modes introduces," added Soffer.
Earlier this year, the network tap provider was in the news as it debuted the revamped version of its tool, V3.31. This release includes support for the proposed draft of 802.15.4 ZigBee Smart Energy 1.2 with UK Extensions, according to the company.
