The robbery at 777 Sweepstakes parlor on 5214 Market Street happened shortly after midnight. The two men held employees and customers at gunpoint and forced some of them to hand over cash and a wallet containing a debit card.

A similar robbery occurred in September when a man robbed a Lucky Sweepstakes parlor on 2900 Carolina Beach Road at gunpoint.
