SnapRetail Earns 2011 Icon Honor for Innovation

Jul 20, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- SnapRetail, a company helping retailers use email, Facebook and Twitter to market products, has been recognized with an Icon 2011 Honor for Innovation in Technology at the annual ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia produced by AmericasMart Atlanta, the Gift and Home Trade Association, and trade publisher Sandow Media.

SnapRetail said it was honored for its use of technology to help independent retailers effectively compete with larger retailers through the use of digital and social marketing to promote products, reach customers and increase sales.

SnapRetail has created TrafficBuilder, an online marketing system that gives retailers the ability to create high-impact emails, Facebook, or Twitter posts in minutes. Its paid user base has tripled since January, which demonstrates the growing need to find smarter solutions in digital marketing. SnapRetail has been adopted by many brands including Vera Bradley, Midwest-CBK, Mud Pie and Yankee Candle.

"At SnapRetail, we are committed to serving as champions of small business owners by addressing their challenges and helping them use interactive media in very new, direct and cost effective ways. Our vision is simple: make marketing easy for America's store owners, and provide content that is unparalleled in the industry," said Ted Teele, CEO of SnapRetail.
