When using the G700SE-M GPS camera with the long-range spotting scope, operators are able to clearly identify and photograph objects at distances up to 1,000 meters. The advanced GPS receiver and electronic compass on-board the G700SE-M allow the operator to accurately record the GPS coordinates (LAT/LONG, MGRS, Decimal Degrees, etc.) and direction the camera is facing at time of photo capture. Additionally, by connecting a laser range finder to the camera, the distance and GPS location of an object being photographed can also be recorded with the simple press of a button. “I’ve always wondered what the militaries of relatively small and “unthreatened” countries do to justify their existence.
