BRIEF: Hot consumer product inventions soughtJul 06, 2012 (El Paso Times - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- A contest will help find an El Paso inventor with a hot consumer product invention. Innovate El Paso and the El Paso Community Foundation have issued the "Hottest Inventor Challenge" with a prize of $5,500 worth of assistance from an engineer, patent attorney and others to help develop the winning invention into a product. Applicants must submit a 90-second video describing and demonstrating the invention. Entries are due by 5 p.m. July 11 to [email protected]. A $25 entry fee is required for each entry. One inventor can submit two entries.
