Synygy Opens New Software Development Center in Romania [Professional Services Close - Up]

(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Synygy, a provider of sales compensation management (SCM) and other sales performance management (SPM) solutions, announced that the company's office in Iasi, Romania is relocating in early August to the newly constructed PALAS IASI complex.

"It is a passion of mine to restore and reuse architecturally- important buildings and to locate our offices in urban centers challenged by a history of neglect," said Mark A. Stiffler, Synygy president and CEO, "The appeal of this newly built state-of-the-art business center lies in its status as the largest construction project in Iasi since the Soviet era and its location in the historically-significant center of the city." In a release, the company noted that the new facility, which will house one of Synygy's global software development centers, stands opposite the Palace of Culture, an imposing, neo-gothic-style edifice that houses four museums featuring art, science, and Moldavian and Romanian history. Nearly every workspace in the office enjoys a view of both the Palace and a grand public garden in front of the Palace that was restored in part based on the original design of the royal garden from the medieval period.

The new office space features 13 videoconference rooms, a data center, a game room, and a cafe that seats over 100 people and can be quickly converted into a 160-person meeting room.

"Our software developers in Iasi are extremely excited by the upcoming move to such a vibrant new urban location," added Stiffler. "And we are very pleased to make such a large investment in their future and the city they call home." Stiffler and executives from other Synygy locations will travel next month to Romania to celebrate the opening of the PALAS IASI office with employees.

Synygy also has an office in Bucharest, Romania, which includes a professional services staff of over 50 people responsible for the delivery of SPM solutions to Synygy's European, Middle Eastern, and African clients and for participating in teams that provide 24/7 global software support and managed services across Synygy's entire client base.

"The new technology center in Iasi will enable us to quickly grow our global software development staff from nearly 160 people to over 200 people," continued Stiffler. "This, together with the continued growth in our sales, marketing, and professional services staff, will cement Synygy's position as the largest and most successful provider of SPM solutions for many years to come."
