Aptean Announces Release of Compiere Version 3.8

Aptean, a global leader in enterprise application software (EAS) and services for companies of all sizes, today announced the release of Compiere Version 3.8 (Compiere v3.8), which incorporated customer guidance in the design and development of improved features.

As with the previous Compiere release, v3.8 utilized feature teams and a formal beta process that emphasized customer participation and feedback, and includes many new features and enhancements, such as:

• Support for high-volume order entry.
• Information widget, which provides key user-defined information for any screen.
• Customer consigned inventory.
• Automated three-way purchase order matching.
• Scalability enhancements using multiple application servers and multi-threading.

User participation was the key to defining this release and developing the new feature and enhancements.
