BRIEF: Congratulations to the newly engaged Alex & Tony of Sleeper Agent!

Galen Smith, proud father of Sleeper Agent guitarist/songwriter, Tony Smith has announced the engagement of Tony and Sleeper Agent singer Alex Kandel on his Facebook page.
Alex joined Sleeper Agent just three days before their first show, so to prevent the risk of forgotten lyrics, songwriter Tony Smith split mic duties with the new bandmate, resulting in their trademark vocal swapping. Much has been made about the sibling-like playful banter between the two, but apparently the two artists share a much closer connection.
Tony popped the question on stage New Year's Eve, amongst their music family at a hometown show. Pizza Riot, Buffalo Rodeo and Morning Teleportation shared the bill at the Rocky's show, where Alex answered yes to the proposal and made her way onto the stage through a screaming crowd.
