BRIEF: Man injured following Clermont crash

A man was injured and in stable condition after crashing his van into a tractor in Clermont Wednesday morning, according to police.
Clermont police said a man in his 70s crashed his van into a tractor at the intersection of Disston Avenue and U.S. Highway 50. The tractor, which was not pulling a trailer, was on Disston facing south and turned left in front of the van. Police did not immediately release the man's name.
The man driving the van was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center. As of Wednesday afternoon he was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The driver of the tractor was uninjured and was cited for violation of right of way.
