BRIEF: Geocached coins to mark anniversary of Conejo Recreation and Park District [Ventura County Star, Calif.]
(Ventura County Star (CA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Jan. 03--The Conejo Recreation and Park District will celebrate its 50th anniversary by hiding commemorative coins across the Conejo Valley.
The coins will be in geocaches, hidden boxes found via handheld GPS units or smartphones.
Participating in geocaching and finding the coins is free. Visit http://www.crpd.org/geocaching to find out where coins are hidden, learn more about geocaching or take a class on the subject.
