Liberty Media receives approval from FCC for transfer of de jure control of Sirius

Jan 04, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Liberty Media Corporation (Nasdaq:LMCA) (Nasdaq:LMCB), a media, communications and entertainment company, received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for the transfer of de jure control of Sirius to Liberty, it disclosed on Thursday.


The company said that the transfer of control of Sirius will be completed within 60 days.
