Atmos Energy Corporation announces departure of Charles K Vaughan from board

Natural-gas-only distributor Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE:ATO) revealed on Thursday the retirement of Charles K Vaughan from its board of directors with effect from 27 December 2012.
In recognition of Vaughan's 55 years of leadership service with the company, the board has named him as an honorary director effective 1 January 2013.
Vaughan became a part of the company in 1957 and has served in numerous leadership capacities, including first chairman, president, chief executive officer, director and lead director.
