BRIEF: Cajun Honeybee opens on West Friendly

The Cajun Honeybee (275-7555) has opened at 1609 W. Friendly Ave., the space formerly occupied by Steakout.
The take-out only shop, between the Westerwood and Sunset Hills neighborhoods, offers stick-to-your-ribs items like Chicken and Seafood Gumbo ($7.99), Chicken Jambalaya ($6.99), Shrimp and Cheddar Grits ($5.99) and a Ribeye Sandwich ($6.99).
There are also wings ($4.99 for an order of four) and fried Tilapia ($3.99).
Wings ($5.99) and tilapia ($6.99) are available for lunch with two sides. Add an additional side and $2 for dinner plates.
Sides include items like rice and beans, macaroni and cheese, cabbage and mashed sweet potatoes.
Cakes and pies, such as sweet potato and apple pie, also are available.
The Cajun Honeybee is open 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
