BRIEF: Indictment accuses man of receiving child pornography

A federal grand jury in Sacramento on Thursday returned an indictment charging a 29-year-old Galt man with receiving child pornography.
According to the indictment, Tyler Jordan is accused of knowingly received images of child pornography through the Internet between July 8, 2011, and Dec. 18, 2012.
The case resulted from an investigation by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and the Sacramento Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, according to a federal Department of Justice news release.
The federally and state-funded task force is managed by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department with agents from federal, state and local agencies.
