Wick Phillips Yields Record Year in Transaction Practice
DALLAS --(Business Wire)--
Wick
Phillips, a full-service business
law firm with offices in Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin, Texas,
announces that the transactional and finance practice handled more than
$445 million in transactions during 2012, a significant increase in
business volume from the previous year. In addition, the practice added
six corporate, finance and real estate attorneys to the team, tripling
the firm's capability in transactions.
Throughout 2012, the Wick Phillips transactional and finance group
represented clients in mergers and acquisitions, real estate, finance,
securities, and general corporate transactional matters. The firm
handled more than a dozen business and real estate acquisitions, formed
three privat equity and hedge funds, directed nine financing
transactions, and closed six venture capital transactions. In addition,
the practice group represented landlord and tenants in connection with
the leasing of more than 300,000 square feet of office, retail, and
industrial space.
