Jan 07, 2013 (The Morning Call (Allentown - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A masked and armed man robbed an Allentown adult bookstore on Sunday night, knocking down a clerk as he fled with money, police said.
Police were dispatched at 6:35 p.m. Sunday to Hamilton Books and Video, 1051 Hamilton St., to investigate the reported robbery, police Capt. Dan Warg said.
The 27-year-old clerk told police a man who had his face covered partially with a hockey mask pulled a handgun and demanded money, Warg said. The man pushed down Genesis Sabastro and grabbed an undetermined amount of money from the register, he said.
Sabastro was treated at a local hospital for a injury to her ankle, Warg said.
The robbery was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with some sort of mask covering the bottom portion of his face and a white hockey mask covering the top portion of his face, Warg said. The man was carrying a black handgun, he said.
