BRIEF: Women's leadership development event set for Feb. 28
GREENSBORO, Jan 11, 2013 (Winston-Salem Journal - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
WithIt, a women's leadership development network serving the home and furnishings industries, will hold a leadership event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Greensboro-High Point Airport Marriott.
The theme is addressing factors that may be holding women back from professional success and career advancement.
Sara King, author and principal at Optimum Insights Inc., will be the primary presenter at the event. King has 25 years in leadership development experience, including serving thousands of executives in Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, educational institutions and nonprofits. She spent 23 years at the Center for Creative Leadership, a top-ranked, global provider of leadership education and research.
