BRIEF: A&M's Minavi, Ore competing this weekend
HOUSTON, Jan 11, 2013 (The Eagle - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Texas A&M men's tennis players Behzad Minavi and Junior Ore will compete in singles and doubles at the Rice/MET Indoor Tournament at the Downtown Club at The Met this weekend.
A&M's duo received a first-round bye in doubles and will face the winner between Rice's Adam Gustafsson and Tommy Bennett and TCU's Will Stein and Facundo Lugones at 10 a.m. Friday.
In singles, Minavi will face TCU's Max Stevens at 11:30 a.m. Friday, while Ore will face Rice's Dylan Tozier at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
The Aggies, ranked 26th in the preseason ITA poll, will begin dual match play Jan. 19 in Dallas against SMU and Nicholls State.
