Local TV Stations to Pay 6 Million Euros for Rights

(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nigerian local TV stations might not be able to watch the 2013 Afcon due to the way Confederation of African Football (CAF) sold its TV rights.

Sportfive rights owners are demanding an amount of 6 Million Euros from Broadcasting Association of Nigeria and if they do not meet their financial demands then Nigerians might resort or find a solution by buying decoders.

This is because the current holders (Sportsfive) bought the rights from CAF and has made it difficult for the country to watch their National teams.
